Adding windowpane dividers (muntins) enhances many architectural styles and gives your home extra street appeal. PGT muntins can be applied to both the exterior and interior of your windows and doors. On insulated glass windows and doors, muntins go between the panes of glass, allowing easy cleaning.

Increase Your Energy Efficiency
Glass options that reduce solar heat gain can provide significant savings on energy bills. For instance, double-paned insulated glass offers excellent U-value and reduces sound when compared to ordinary single-pane glass. And our standard insulated glass is covered by a 10- year warranty. PGT also offers heat-reducing tints and high- performance low-E coatings that reduce solar heat gain while protecting your furnishings, draperies and artwork from fading.
In considering glass options, it’s valuable to compare how various options affect solar heat gain and visible light transmittance. Reducing solar heat gain can save on air conditioning bills. Reducing visible light transmittance – that is the brightness of the daylight entering a home – may or may not be a desired effect.
